Private Workshops

In addition to being a photographer, I am also a professionally licensed educator.  One of the great pleasures of my life is seeing the excitement and sense of accomplishment in students as they acquire, demonstrate, then master new skills.

In the field workshops are hands down the most effective way to gain technical and compositional skills. Instruction during the workshop can easily be tailored to the experience level of the participant. Topics may range from the basics of composition, using light to create visual flow, reading and responding to the current weather, and more advanced techniques such as focus stacking or exposure blends. Post-processing sessions can also be built into the agenda if desired.

I currently am available for 1:1 or 2:1 workshops in the Pacific Northwest upon request. As of now I am not advertising set dates for workshops. Instead I prefer to work closely with each participant to design goals and decide on locations which aim to support attaining their goals.
