A Karakoram Dream
I dreamed of one day visiting Pakistan’s Karakoram mountains for over thirty years. A Karakoram Dream chronicles my incredible 14 day trek to through these magical mountains in July of 2025. Along the way I walked below many of Earth’s most magnificent summits, photographing the entire journey. Without doubt this was a trip of a lifetime, fulfilling one of my life’s most enduring dreams.
It took many months before I was able to feel like processing images from the trip. The result is my most recent free ebook, A Karakoram Dream. So come follow along as I spent days walking alongside the might Braldu River, passing beneath the massive stone walls of the Trango Towers, camping at the legendary Concordia, before finally walking the last few icy miles to camp below the second highest mountain in the world — K2.
